Q4 What did you like best about the NANPA Chincoteague Regional Field Event?
- Colin Hocking was a great leader with lots of good information. The people in the group were among the best I have toured with and the area was spectacular with lots of good photo ops. The choice of accommodations was perfect, allowing for access to food within walking distance if needed, as well as location right next to entrance to nature refuge. It was definitely the best choice on the island.
- I was very impressed with Colin Hocking as group leader. He was well informed, had done thorough pre-planning, and was very helpful with advice and tips on better photography, both to the group and individually.
- Enjoyed it all.
- I always like the interaction among leaders and participants. We learn from one another.
- Easy, quick access to birding sites.
- The location and instructor/guide.

- He was patient, informative, funny, flexible to our needs and an overall great host.
- Very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating.
- Colin was there to answer questions and give help where needed.
- He is very talented and was extremely prepared for the event. He made a thoughtful and friendly effort to get to know everyone and assist us with our photography goals and expectations throughout the weekend. Personally, he taught me a number of valuable techniques to improve my nature photography. He’s a fantastic guide and instructor! He was the primary factor for the success of the trip.
What a great time in the OBX. Enjoyed spending time with everyone and sharing our passion for photography. What a fantastic group, so helpful, fun and informative. Thanks to our leaders for arranging this trip and getting us to great shooting locations. Looking forward to the reunion and future trips together!

Colin's class is awesome!! He relates photography terms to everyday things that everyone can understand. You can tell by the way he teaches, he wants you to learn and become a better photographer whether as a hobby or taking it to another level. I would definitely recommend this class.

A little daunting is a huge understatement, but Colin did a fantastic job of making it a lot less intimidating. Well worth the money, and gives me another very useful club in the bag ! Colin's knowledge of Lightroom is extensive, and I hope I can just remember most of what he taught us.

I love the photography class and with a full day I was able to learn much more than attending a 3 hour class. I have been a self taught photography "want-a-be" forever. I learned all the basic things I needed to improve my skills. During this class I was able to see everything I had done wrong for years and understand why many of my photos were not GREAT pictures. Highly recommend this class. There are many mistakes that I made in the past that will not be repeated. Now I can get the best use out of my expensive Nikon D5000 camera.
