This will mainly be a birding outing as the fall brings many visitors to this iconic park! We'll also be walking out to the jetty along the beach so perhaps we'll see some mink fishing from the rocks, too.

What we'll photograph
This time of year we’ll be hoping to see the fall migration of birds and wildlife.
We’ll set aside time during the day to discuss technique and to assess how to improve your imagery.
What you'll learn:
We'll be using techniques to capture everything from landscapes to wildlife. You'll be learning how to use your camera's focus systems to capture fast moving objects, sometimes in low light. Changing ISO, shutter speeds, apertures and white balance to maximize your creativity and achieve technical accuracy, too. You'll also learn about composition, best practices for photographing birds and wildlife, and if time and lack of sleep allows, we'll have image review sessions and a presentation or two.

Min-Max # of Attendees: 4-12
Plan on arriving in the park at 1pm on Thursday 21st. You will be sent a precise meeting location a few days before the event.
We will have a meeting on the evening of the 21st at 7pm, and an image review session in the afternoon of the 22nd from 1-3.30pm
We'll be done at noon on Saturday 23rd
I'll send out a final email with gear to bring, where we'll meet at 7.00pm on the first evening, and additional details a few days before the workshop begins.

- Individual instruction from a professional wildlife photographer, CNPA member, and South Carolina Master Naturalist
- Image reviews, presentations, and editing suggestions if time allows

- Park entrance fees

- 90 - 30 days prior to workshop start date will be 50% refundable
- 30 days or less prior to workshop start date and no-shows will be non-refundable
